Rellotgeria i Joieria Fuster

The Rellotgeria i Joieria Fuster opened in 1951, on the day of Dijous Bo. The business was run for many years by the Fuster Mateu brothers. Jaume was the first owner of the business, and when his brother Rafel learned the watchmaker’s trade he joined him.

At first, they only sold watches and spectacles, and for a few years they also sold perfumes at the request of their sister. A few years later, they bought another store and separated the watch and perfume businesses.

When the two brothers died, the business was passed on to Catalina, Rafel Fuster’s wife, and their daughter Joana Maria Fuster, the current owner. Joana Maria remembers very well how she joined the family business when she was only 17 years old.

In the store, in addition to a wide variety of watches, they offer a variety of jewellery such as necklaces and bracelets. They also have a watch repair service.

Today, they still keep some shelves, showcases and furniture from the old days, and even have a chest of drawers full of spectacles from that time.
