Alfarería Sa Teulera

The Ribas family opened the Alfarería Sa Teulera pottery in 1945, and today it is the second generation that runs the arts and crafts business, focusing on clay items.

It is located in the Can Negre neighbourhood in a large rural warehouse that is divided into a pottery workshop and the shop, which contains numerous wooden shelves full of ceramic objects: traditional items, basins, jars, drinking bowls, jugs, etc. There is also a small room in the shop where the original wood oven is kept.

Sa Teulera performs live demonstrations with traditional lathes for schools, visitors, retirees and fans of this art, in order to promote this emblematic culture. In fact, its objective is to continue with the art of clay, offering courses on lathes and looking for new people interested in the craft.
